Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Top 5 E-Tools

1. Press the Attack: You might feel like the best tactic is to hang back and wait for the enemy to come to you. That works in some situations, but don’t let it be your only strategy. Sometimes the best strategy is to run through the door and get in their face.

2. Change It Up. At this point in Season Two, there are several different melee weapons to choose from, like the Wakizashi and Machete. Switch it up between matches to keep things fresh, and if you still need to unlock any of their weapon camos, get to work on those challenges as well.

3. Reveal and Scramble. The Spy Plane and CounterSpy Plane are low-cost and effective. They’re both great Scorestreak choices and used best in combination, helping you find enemy targets while their own mini-map becomes a scrambled mess. If you’re confident, choose the H.A.R.P. as your third Scorestreak to track down the entire enemy team.

4. From the Start. When working on streaks, go straight to your melee loadout at the start of the match. You’ll move faster with a melee weapon equipped compared to a heftier primary, and more speed is always a good thing.

5. Jungle Mercenary. Earning multiple kills without dying using a melee weapon for camo challenges is no small task, but a solid loadout can make it a lot easier. Here’s a recommended build to get you started:

Secondary Weapon: Midnight Pistol Blueprint (Available at Tier 42 of the Season Two Battle Pass)

  • Perk 1: Paranoia & Forward Intel
  • Perk 2: Quartermaster & Gearhead
  • Perk 3: Ghost & Ninja

Equipment: Stun Grenade (Tactical), Tomahawk (Lethal)

  • Field Upgrade: Field Mic
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
