Fortnite will start Switch Cup 3 event for Nintendo Switch on March 9 with new outfits

Recently, the Fortnite rollout v15.50 update brings Hand Cannon heads back to the vault, while another item returns, including New Island size in Creative & localized Featured Creative Hub support.

On March 9, 2021, Nintendo Switch players will have the opportunity to earn the Cyprus Nell Outfit and Quantic Pulsar Back Bling for competing in the Fortnite Switch Cup 3. This event is available to all eligible switch players in all server areas. Our commitment to providing console special tournaments.

The Switch Cup 3 is around a 3-hour tournament in which players can participate in 10 matches and earn as many points as possible in that 3-hour window. The best performing players from each region receive Cyprus Nell Outfit and Quantic Pulsar Back Bling.

Also, players only need to collect 8 points to get the Impasto Wrap Reward. Players earn points based on the scoring system listed below, so watch this system to determine your best strategy.

The Switch Cup 3 will be Solos Match. To participate, players will need to have 2FA enabled and have an Epic account at level 30 or above. To enable 2FA, players must visit our Fortnite 2FA page, log in to their Epic accounts, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Switch Cup 3 Scoring

Here’s a quick breakdown of how scoring will work for the Switch Cup 3:

  • Victory Royale: 20 points
  • 2nd: 15 points
  • 3rd: 13 points
  • 4th – 5th: 10 points
  • 6th – 10th: 8 points
  • 11th – 15th: 7 points
  • 16th – 20th: 6 points
  • 21st – 25th: 5 points
  • 26th – 30th: 4 points
  • 31st – 40th: 3 points
  • 41st – 50th: 2 points
  • 51st – 75th: 1 point
  • Each Elimination: 1 point
