Outside of missions, players roam freely in a free world. The world, which includes San Andreas open countryside, including the fictional Blaine County and the fictional city of Los Santos, is much larger than previous entries in the series. Story progress will unlock more gameplay content, but it can be fully explored after the game starts without restraint.
Now, GTA 6 rumors reported that the game takes place in the past, but informant Tom Henderson disagrees. The developers announced that the players will not be in the 80s, but at the present time. After Henderson added that the modern gaming setting works in favor of developer Rockstar Games, as it will make it easier to create “weird things” for the open-world landscape and the GTA Online companion mode. It is also more profitable in terms of income.

Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced GTA 6 yet, but rumors say the game is in development. In recent years, it has been said that we will be returned to Vice City, the iconic location of the series. Henderson usually gives the correct information about Call of Duty and Battlefield.
