RuneScape game is now ready to release on iOS and Android platform soon

RuneScape is one of the most well-known MMORPGs in existence, with two versions currently available, the modern game and the classic ‘old school’ version, which has largely resembled a game since 2007. Old school RuneScape came on Android and iOS in 2018, and now the full game is also coming on mobile.

Although the port was announced with a full RuneScape on mobile at the same time as Mobile Old School RuneScape, now the full game is ready to be released only on iOS and Android. There is no exact release date yet, but you can pre-register to be notified when it goes live on the Play Store and the App Store.

“There has been significant growth in membership and player activity across all of our platforms over the past month,” the developers said in the announcement. “Until last week, we had our highest membership since 2015, and we are trying to break more records with mobile launches this year. Together, we’ve made sure that this 20-year-old MMO is in the tank we all love for so many years without signs of slowing down, and now I can’t wait to move on to its next big moments! ”

RuneScape is a multiplayer RPG that takes place in the medieval fantasy world of Gillianor, with players divided into different states to explore. The game was first released in 2001, and the current version (RunRuneScapecape 3) came out in 2013. RuneScape also recently launched on Steam, where its average user rating score is ‘very positive’.

There is no shortage of MMORPG on mobile platforms, but it would be great to see one of the longest-running actively developed games, appearing on iOS and Android.
