Ubisoft to bring Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, and more coming to Stadia

Recently, Ubisoft Stadia and Rainbow announced new games and enhancements soon on other platforms, including Six Siege and Honor.

As written in Clouds with a Chance of Games, Ubisoft made an investor call this morning, during which they shared a list of expected releases for the first financial quarter of 2021 – running from April to June. Titles run the platform’s gamut, releasing PCs, consoles, and studios alike.

In the mix, Ubisoft’s biggest games are previously unannounced Stadia Ports. The upcoming big game for Stadia is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six entourage, an ever-popular strategic shooter that emphasizes teamwork, communication, and collaboration. In particular, the release marked “Year 6 – Season 2”, which is set to launch in June.

On PC, Ubisoft + customers have had full access to all the in-game operators of Rainbow Six Seas for the past five years. It makes sense to make this deal available to Stadia players.

Also on the schedule, Ubisoft shares that its most popular medieval fighting game for Honor is going to get a stadia port. If you do not know, the largest factions of warriors in the history of the game, including the Vikings, Samurai, and more, are in a very challenging, yet combat system.

The last proper reveal in the list is that Ubisoft is preparing yet another Uno release also coming to Stadia, “Uno: 50th Anniversary Edition.” It’s not clear if this is simply another deck, matching the physical 50th-anniversary deck, or if this is another full release of the popular card game.

Anywhere on the release schedule, Stadia fans can look forward to the Watchdogs Legion, Assassin’s Creed, Immortals Phoenix Rising and Division 2 expansion.

In particular, almost every release of Ubisoft’s first-quarter Docket is coming to Stadia, with the exception of the new DLC for the ANO 1800, which is only available on PC. Overall, Ubisoft seems to be committed to being a platform for Stadia and a way for players to enjoy Ubisoft + subscriptions without exclusive gaming hardware.
