New trademark patent hints at Huawei’s another video application incoming

According to the latest news, Huawei has filed a new trademark registration for Huawei Forum Video. The international classification of this trademark comes under the education and entertainment category and currently that status of a trademark is an application for registration.

This trademark hints that the Chinese OEM is planning to launch one more video application when it already has the Huawei Video app. Though the application is currently under registration process and we can’t take anything as a confirmation as of now. If the development of such an application starts then we will surely get you updated with that.

The current Huawei Video application is designed specifically for Huawei devices that lets the users find and play all kinds of video content such as films, documentaries, and series, etc. Furthermore, it also has some categories such as lifestyle, hot topics, sports, etc. to help you find your interest.

As of June this year, the Huawei Video app has been accumulated in more than 60 countries and regions. As per Huawei, this application has been synchronized with the Huawei P40 series in 26 countries and regions around the world.

Recently, the president of Huawei’s Consumer Services stated that Huawei Video provides more than 50000 hours of Chinese films and TV content, it has more than 100,000 Chinese films and drama series and more than 10 million Chinese short videos.
