Samsung Expert RAW coming to Galaxy Note 20 in September

Introduced earlier this Samsung Expert RAW is a wonderful camera application that gives users a next-level photography experience on their phone. The application is limited to Galaxy smartphones and that too flagships. Only Galaxy S21, S22, Z Fold 3, and Z Fold 2 received Expert RAW support so far.

Meanwhile, a new report claims that Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra phones are next in line to get Expert RAW support. Recently, the Samsung camera in charge of the community reported (Via SammyFans) that the company is planning to release this app for Galaxy Note 20 series in mid-September.

The camera in charge further said that Samsung needs at least one Galaxy Note 20 software update to enable Expert RAW for the devices. It means, we’ll be seeing this wonderful camera app on the Note 20 series alongside the September security patch update.

The community moderator also added that the availability of the update will differ as per the countries and regions. Well, Samsung doesn’t let its users wait for the update for so long, therefore, the Expert RAW app will not take much time in reaching all regions.

Samsung has recently announced the latest update for the Expert RAW application that adds a couple of new changes to further enhance the users’ photography experience.

According to the information, a new feature has been added to the app known as Custom Prest. It allows you to save frequently used camera settings and use them again for the next shot. You can save, apply, and delete settings through the preset icon at the bottom right of the preview.

Next, the “Save picture in” feature has also been added to the application so that you can select the file format for saving photos of Expert RAW. Through this menu, you can save both RAW and JPEG at the same time, or you can also choose to create RAW or JPEG only.
