WhatsApp has rolled a new update for WhatsApp web/desktop client with version 2.2043.7. This update brings a new feature ‘Calls’ when you receive a call from WhatsApp Web, a window will open where you can accept or decline the incoming call.
Additionally, WhatsApp is working on two more features including ‘Voice and Video calls’.

Features that comes in this new WhatsApp beta:
- When you receive a call from WhatsApp Web, a window will be presented where you can accept or decline the incoming call.
- When you call someone, WhatsApp will show another type of window, it’s smaller and it includes the status of the call.
Note: this feature is not available but WhatsApp is considering offering it soon. We will announce when it’s possible to officially call from WhatsApp Web.
