WhatsApp is working on undo option for deleted messages

WhatsApp has released a new beta version – 2.22.13.5 for Android through Google Play Store. According to the information, the WhatsApp team is working on a new feature to undo the deleted messages. However, it is under development and not even available for beta tester yet.

As you know, WhatsApp currently offers two options to delete send messages – Delete for me and Delete for everyone. But, this feature is available for a limited for a particular message. Afterward, if you delete the sent message then it will disappear only from your chat but remains in the same place for others.

Further, there is also the possibility that you will mistakenly delete the sent message for me instead of all then what can do? After receiving several negative feedback from users, WhatsApp is planning to recover messages deleted by mistake and now the process has finally started.

Following the screenshot, you can see the undo option at the bottom of the WhatsApp chat window. Once the feature will be rolled out, you are exactly able to same action for deleting messages. To be mentioned, the undo feature will only be available for a few seconds therefore you need to be the quick response when tapping undo.

However, this feature is under development and will soon be available for beta testers first. Similar to other features, it is listed on the website and it is not yet available to anyone. Stay connected with us for more information.
