On Thursday, WhatsApp officially announced that it is introducing the ‘Disappearing Messages’ feature. As its name says, this new feature will allow messages to disappears after seven days.

This latest feature is available for individual and also for the group chats. On the other side, group admins can turn on/off disappearing message feature in the group. If the users does not open the WhatsApp within 7 days, the message will disappear.
The Disappearing Message feature will be available on all WhatsApp supported devices on Android, iOS, KaiOS, Web and Desktop.
Note: Only use disappearing messages with trusted individuals. For example, it’s possible for someone to:
- Forward or take a screenshot of a disappearing message and save it before it disappears.
- Copy and save content from the disappearing message before it disappears.
- Take a photo of a disappearing message with a camera or other device before it disappears.
