Tesla will fix Model X brake safety issue with new OTA update

Tesla has recalled over 4,700 Model X in China due to the brake safety issue, and now the manufacturer will fix this concern with the OTA update. To be mentioned, the recall affects vehicles that were produced between October 13, 2021, to September 28, 2023.

As per the info, Tesla will roll out a new update with software version 2023.32.9 or later to affected Model X vehicles, which should correct the dangerous brake safety issue.

In case an affected Model X is unable to receive version 2023.32.9 over-the-air, then Tesla will contact vehicle owners to schedule a service appointment and this would be done free of charge.

This way, the affected Model X vehicles would be able to send out proper alerts when their brake fluid levels are low.

Brake safety issue – It lead to decreased braking performance on affected Model X vehicles. In extreme cases, affected vehicles could see an increased crash risk.
