In the Reddit forum, many users said they are facing this problem. When they asked Siri to control the noise reduction of AirPods Pro in iOS 15, Siri responded “Sorry, I can’t do that”.
It seems like the bug has been fixed in the public beta of iOS 15.1, and the noise reduction of AirPods Pro can be controlled normally.
It is not clear when the official version of iOS 15.1 will be released. Apple just pushed the first public beta version of iOS 15.1. It also brings lossless audio and Dolby Atmos support to HomePod and HomePod mini.
For users of the official version of iOS 15, if you encounter this bug, you can upgrade to the iOS 15.1 public beta, or simply give up controlling the headset through Siri and choose manual operation.
Yep, for sure broken for me. But it’s fixed in iOS 15.1.
