OnePlus recently released a new OxygenOS 12 C.16 software update for the OnePlus 8 and 8T devices. The update fixed the power consumption issue in some scenarios and it also improved the battery life experience.

A new OxygenOS update fixes a few more bugs – OP 9/9 Pro

There’s a new OxygenOS 12 update rolling out for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro with software version C.44. The latest update includes several bug fixes.

The latest update fixes a display issue with charging animations and notification drawer that would occur in certain scenarios. It also fixes a scrolling lag issue with the notification drawer.

For the camera, the latest OxygenOS update fixes the camera crashing issue. In addition, it fixed the occasional camera responding issue at the time of video recording.

OnePlus is rolling out a new OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 series users. The update also brings some fixes for the OnePlus 9 series.

Do not install OxygenOS 12 stable update

According to various reports on social media, the latest OxygenOS 12 update has several serious bugs. We suggest you do not install this stable update, you should wait for another build. The issues such as:

  • Problem during incoming/outgoing calls
  • Bad animations
  • Autofill feature isn’t working properly
  • WiFi issue
  • Battery icon turn off issue
  • Can’t disable Google feed
  • Can’t change icons
  • Call recording app and Advanced Reboot feature are missing

Note: Before releasing the stable version of OxygenOS 12, OnePlus released a closed and open beta update to the OnePlus 9 series users. Even after a lengthy beta program, OnePlus hasn’t fixed the bugs before releasing the stable version.
