On 11 March 2021, Oppo has officially unveiled the most awaited flagship smartphone series Oppo Find X3 which includes Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo, and X3 Lite. Out of which, Find X3 and Find X3 Pro, support the company’s 30W AirVOOC wireless charging protocol.
Recently, Oppo has silently launched a more powerful 45W AirVOOC wireless charger on Jingdong (JD). This charger can be used with 18W, 20W, and 65W adapters and can support up to 45W output.
Other than this, Oppo ACE2 is the first smartphone to support the company’s AirVOOC wireless charging protocol. Unlike Oppo Find X3 and Oppo Find X3 Pro, the maximum charging rate of ACE2 is 40W. This phone was released in April 2020 and is only sold in China. In other aspects, it has been nearly a year since Oppo launched a mobile phone that supports AirVOOC.

Specification of Oppo 45WVOOC Wireless Charger:
The new Oppo AirVOOC wireless charger can support up to 45W output. But, the maximum speed is only compatible with devices using AirVOOC technology. The devices that support the Qi charging protocol are limited to 15W.
In terms of input, the charger can be used with 18W, 20W, and 65W adapters. The maximum wireless charging speed depends on the adapter used. In addition, it is worth noting that the product does not come with an adapter, but it does come with a USB Type-A to Type-C cable.
The design of the charging stand is vertical, but the phone can be placed vertically and horizontally. Moreover, the charger can charge mobile phones at maximum speed when the thickness is less than 2mm.
It has six protection functions for overvoltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, over-current, electro-static, and foreign body detection. Also, the charger is equipped with a fan to reduce heat.
Price and Availability:
The Oppo 45W AirVOOC wireless charger model OAWV02 is only available in white and is priced at 329 yen ($50) in China. In the coming days, the product should be ready for purchase.
