Earlier this year, online reports surfaced that Samsung is developing a 65W fast charger. The adapter model is TA-865, which is suitable for Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Fold, and other mobile phones that use the USB-C output interface.
Later, the charging adapter passed the TUV SUD certification, thus obtaining the model EP-TA865. Prove that the maximum capacity supported by the charger is 20V or 3.25A. Now, according to the latest information, Samsung’s unreleased charger with the same model has completed India’s BIS certification.

After obtaining approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards, we can expect the Korean technology giant to release this charger soon in the near future. It is worth mentioning that various smartphone manufacturers have launched phones with fast charging support up to 65W.
According to technical standards, a 65W fast charger can fully charge a compatible Galaxy device within 30 minutes. In addition, it is expected to be able to charge Galaxy notebook computers and will be provided as an additional accessory.
