2021 iPad Pro to come with A14 chipset as powerful as Apple Silicon M1

Apple is preparing for its 2021 iPads Pro to introduce in the first quarter of this year. These devices are likely to be announced in March 2021 which is coming near. As the new iPad are approaching their release date new leaks and rumors are continuously reaching us.

As the previous leak suggests, there are some sorts of new changes that Apple might bring to these latest iPad models. And now, as per the latest news, both the new variants of iPad Pro are expected to be powered by A14 chipset. 

The new chip is based on 5nm technology, which will a major upgrade over the ‘A12Z’ Bionic chip powering the current iPad Pro. The new processor is expected to be more powerful than its predecessor.

According to the news the design of the upcoming iPad Pro is expected to look similar to the current models. The device could be slightly thicker than the previous iPad’s. It will include a Mini-LED display with improved brightness and enhanced contrast ratio.

While the pricing of the upcoming iPad Pro is not known but there is some speculation which suggests the expected price. According to research firm Phonearena, the 2021 iPad Pro model are expected to cost as follows:

Apple iPad Pro 2021 (WiFi-only models):

  • 11-inch iPad Pro (2021) starting at 799$
  • 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021) starting at 999$

Apple iPad Pro 2021 (WiFi + Cellular models):

  • 11-inch iPad Pro (2021) starting at 949$
  • 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021) starting at 1,149$

It is expected that the upcoming iPads will come with 5G and WiFi 6 connectivity, along with better camera performance. However, the official confirmation from the company is yet to come and we’ll keep you posted as soon as we receive something new on this matter.
