2021 iPads to be based on iPad Air 3rd generation, but no major changes in iPad Pro

Last year Apple launched new iPad models with several new changes as compared with the previous generation and the latest and powerful A14 Bionic chip. And now there is news coming related to the upcoming iPad from Apple and as the news suggests, Apple is preparing for its upcoming iPads that will be iPad 9th generation.

As per the latest information, the design of the upcoming iPad will be based on the previous iPad Air 3rd generation. The display will be the same as 10.2-inches while the thickness is significantly thinner at 6.3mm and the weight seems to be lighter at 460 grams.

Further, the iPad will be using the regular Touch ID and lighting ports. The company will be using the same full lamination display with anti-reflective coatings, P3, and True Tone displays.

Moving on to the iPad Pro, there will be negligible design changes in the upcoming version of the 11-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablets, while the company will use the next generation of its A-series chipsets in the new iPad Pro models.
