Apple has implemented numerous accessibility features on iOS and other devices. The reason for doing so was to make life simpler for users with disabilities. Some of the features are VoiceOver, Assistive Touch, Voice Control, and more. However, Apple has initiated a few more tips and features that any user can easily use to enhance their iPhone and iPad device experience.
A few of the features that the company has shifted to the iPhone and iPad devices are:
- Customizable font size
- Calm background sounds
- Magnifier app for a clear vision of the objects near you
- Sound recognition for ambient sounds such as alarms and sirens
- Custom Voice Commands to control the device
Further, some more features will arrive with iOS 16 software. One of them is the Door Detection which uses LiDAR sensors to help users with the distance of the door. Moreover, it also recognizes the symbols and signs on the door. On the other hand, there are Live Captions and new options for monitoring the health status of users with motor disabilities.
