Apple M1 iPad Pro beats Snapdragon 888 and Kirin 9000

The results of testing the new Apple iPad Pro tablet have been published, which is built on the basis of the Apple M1 single-chip system, in the popular Geekbench benchmark.

The Apple M1-based iPad Pro scored 1,727 points in single-core mode and 7,270 points on all cores. For comparison, the results of testing the OnePlus 9 Pro based on the Snapdragon 888 SoC are given, which scored 1106 and 3534 points, respectively.

Huawei’s flagship smartphone based on Kirin 9000 scored 1009 and 3614 points, respectively. Thanks to the highly efficient Apple M1 SoC and 16GB of RAM, the new iPad Pro is twice as fast as today’s flagships from the Android world.

Some versions of the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will not ship until July at the earliest, according to information posted on Apple’s official website. According to analysts, sales of the older version of the iPad Pro could reach 5 million units within a year.
