Apple released iWork three-piece Pages / Numbers / Keynote 12.2, adapts to iOS 16 and iPadOS 16

Apple officially updated the iWork productivity app suite. From the updated content, the iWork three-piece Pages / Numbers / Keynote 12.2 version is adapted to the new iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 operating systems.

In the iWork three-piece 12.2 version, using iPads running iPadOS 16 can further improve productivity, including quickly inserting objects through customizable toolbars and using favorite tools. Find frequently used documents in the new document menu.

Actions such as printing and renaming, as well as on-stage scheduling, make it easier to work on multiple documents, presentations, and spreadsheets at the same time on supported iPad models.

Apple iWork App UpdatePages document

  • A new activity view shows recent changes in collaborative documents, including when users joined, commented, and edited;

  • Receive notifications when other users join or make changes to shared documents;

  • Share documents in Messages to start team collaboration immediately, and view updates directly in the Messages conversation (requires iOS 16 or iPadOS 16);

  • Send a message or start a FaceTime call directly in a collaborative document (requires iOS 16 or iPadOS 16);

  • Easily create documents with free text and graphics using the new Blank Layout template;

Keynote presentation

  • New option allows you to automatically remove the background of an image to separate the subject within it (requires iOS 16 or iPadOS 16);

  • Remove or replace the background of the live video for eye-catching effects;

  • Create unique charts with additional color, line, and number formatting controls;

  • Additional print and export PDF options.

Numbers

  • A new activity view shows recent changes in collaborative spreadsheets, including when users joined, commented, and edited;

  • Send messages or start FaceTime calls directly in collaborative spreadsheets (requires iOS 16 or iPadOS 16);

  • Use new functions to compare numbers and combine text, including BITAND, BITOR, BITXOR, BITLSHIFT, BITRSHIFT, ISOWEEKNUM, CONCAT, TEXTJOIN, and SWITCH;

  • View autocompletion suggestions based on the contents of other cells in the same column;

  • Create unique charts with additional color, line, and number formatting controls;

  • Further productivity gains with iPads running iPadOS 16;

  • New option lets you automatically remove the background of an image to separate the subject within it (requires iOS 16 or iPadOS 16).
