Apple hasn’t provided details on the firmware update for Beats headphones or AirPods headphones, so we’re not sure what exact improvements or bug fixes the new firmware brings.

Apple Powerbeats Pro Firmware UpdateMoreover, Apple appears to have added a new option to the Beats Studio Buds, which allows users to cancel a call by pressing a button on the device once or twice, according to reports.

There is no standard way to upgrade Beats software, but the firmware is usually installed OTA when the headphones are connected to an iOS device. Putting the Beats headphones in the charging case, connecting them to a power source, and then pairing the headphones with an iPhone or iPad is expected to force an update within a short period of time.
