Apple releases macOS 13.5 and watchOS 9.6 beta for public testers

Alongside iOS 16.6, Apple has released the first public beta of macOS 13.5 and watchOS 9.6. Here is the chance for general consumers to test and explore the latest firmware before the official version launch and report bugs and issues, if any.

Beta firmware is an opportunity that lets you dive into the new features and improvements before anyone else. However, this activity also comes along with bugs and stability threats that often result in lagging and buffering of the device. Hence, install the build at your own risk.

According to the information, Apple macOS Ventura 13.5 and watchOS 9.6 public beta are rolling out with the 22G5027e and 20U5527c  build versions. While there is no information about the package size, we will suggest you have sufficient room and battery percentage to carry out the download process.

On the flip side, the update may not hamper your data. But it is better to opt for a backup beforehand. Moreover, use a standard internet connection to install the new builds, or it may lead to the update installation failure.

How to download the public beta?

Public beta testers can download the macOS 13.5 firmware by visiting the System Preferences app and heading to the Software Update section. Now tap on Apple’s beta software website and install the appropriate profile.
