Apple and Google have associated to develop better features and solutions that can protect Android and iOS users from unwanted tracking. Probably, the upcoming Android and iOS versions will bring new tweaks regarding this aspect.
Recently, Apple announced in a press conference that the firm partnered with the Android maker – Google to work on unwanted tracking measures. The information suggests that the tech giants will work on a crowdsourced finding network.
Ahead, both companies submitted the specification of the new development as an Internet-Draft. Consequently, we will find the ultimate element for Android and iOS smartphone users by the end of this year. Notably, tech designers like Samsung, Tile, eufy Security, Chipolo, and Pebblebee also supported the new measure.
Speaking of the huge change, both companies are planning to expand Air-Tag-like tracking alerts to third-party item trackers in the future versions of iOS and Android. Eventually, this will send a notification automatically to consumers when any of the brand tackers follow them around.
