Google Pixel phone apps get support for Android 13 predictive back gesture

Google Pixel Android 13 predictive back gesture

Google Pixel phone apps are adding the support for Android 13 predictive back gesture. Moreover, you can now test the back gesture feature in your Pixel phones.

The predictive gestures allow users to preview their destination before fully swiping through it. Through this, users could decide whether to continue or stay in the current situation. The back gestures show the home screen behind the app you are using.

As per the information, the predictive back gesture support is live for version 90.0.x. Each time you try to exit while on the main tab, the app window shrinks down with a home screen on the back.

Previously, in Android 12 the gesture prediction was unsatisfactory. But with Android 13 Google completely works to enhance the look and feel of the user interface.

You can now test this back-to-home feature by enabling a developer option. To implement the feature go to the Settings menu then tap on the About phone option. Here, tap seven times on the Build number present at the bottom of the interface. Then go to the Settings search to find Predictive back animations and here you can enable the toggle.
