Again, the TWS feature in these mini gadgets offered extra customization elements like Single Tap, Double Tap, Triple Tap, and Long Press to operate music playback, call functions, enable/disable Noise Cancellation, and more.

However, after the OxygenOS 12 update, many OnePlus users reported the issue that they cannot find the TWS customization feature, even after connecting the earbuds to the phone. Though the device owners tried several ways and third-party apps to overcome this issue, all went in vain.

Fortunately, now we have the solution to this issue. Recently, a user shared a new post entitled “Solution – OnePlus Buds Settings. Further, he mentioned that the issue can be resolved with the OPPO Wireless Earphones app.

Here’s what the user said:

“This app is already installed on your device. Since OxygenOS 12 update the existing OnePlus Buds app doesn’t work and you need to update that app. And for some weird reason, the app doesn’t show in the Google Play Store update section. For the first time, you need to manually search and update the app, and after that, you can have your Buds Settings.”

Aside, the user also mentioned that the Wireless Earphones app works only with OxygenOS 12 and 13 versions. Hence, make sure of the requirements.
