OnePlus fans have mainly locked their eyes on two prominent products of this year – OnePlus Fold and OxygenOS 14. And it looks like, users don’t have to wait for more to grab a glimpse of these iconic elements on board. Yes! We have finally caught new inputs on this matter.
According to the latest information shared by Pricebaba, the OnePlus Fold is likely to debut on the consumer platform in the first half of August, and probably, we may find OxygenOS 14 at the same stage. Further, the company could put forth a New York launch event in the time ahead for the respective products.
Well, that’s a similar case we met last year. In August 2022, the tech giant unveiled the OnePlus 10T smartphone on the ground with OxygenOS 13. Thereafter, the manufacturer began to roll out the beta builds of the major software upgrade among its top-end and eligible devices.
Perhaps, the timeline doesn’t vary much and we could again expect the next OxygenOS version in the same span. On the flip side, Google has today released the Android 14 Beta 3 and has reached the first Platform Stability mark. So things are quite on track for the moment.
However, OnePlus often delays its software update rollout for its devices. Hence, it won’t be right to add a confirmation tag to the theory at present. Moreover, the company has just mentioned that a foldable phone will arrive in Q3 this year, and there is no official release date for the launch.
Thus, we cannot jump to any conclusion immediately. Though the details are accurate as per the previous timings, which gives a strong affirmation of OxygenOS 14 arrival.
The first folding phone of the brand is expected to be a twin of the OPPO Find N3. Besides, leaks suggest that the device will equip Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 16GB RAM, 512GB, and UFS 4.0 storage. It could even carry a 4800mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities. In addition, the OnePlus Fold phone could step into the global market by initially arriving in US and India.
