Rumor: iPhone 12 Pro will feature a high refresh-rate 120Hz ProMotion display, 3X camera zoom, improved Face ID, and more

The latest rumor claimed that the iPhone 12 will come with a high refresh-rate 120Hz ProMotion display or at least only on the iPhone 12 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

To save battery life, the device will dynamically switch between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate. To support the 120Hz display, the device will come with improved battery life.

According to the information, the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display will come with a 4400mAh battery capacity. This much battery life is necessary when the company is adding 120Hz ProMotion and 5G support this year.

The source (EverythingApplePro) also says to expect improved Face ID with a smaller notch design. It will now support a wider angle of view to allow unlocking at more angles.
