Check the teardown of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra

Two weeks ago, Samsung launched its new Note lineup, Samsung Galaxy Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra. These two phones sport 6.9 and 6.7-inches large display respectively, the new phones also have an edge over its predecessor with the new S Pen with improved pressure sensitivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra offers a new vivid and bright Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and 120Hz refresh rate delivering smooth animations visuals.

These high-end phones from Samsung also offer bigger battery capacities including 4300mAh in Galaxy Note 20 and 4500mAh in Note 20 Ultra. However, according to the teardown, both Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra using excessive adhesive to keep the battery intact on its chassis and make replacement difficult.

The teardown also shows the compact component hosting inside the phones as well as the camera module. Adding a note on this matter, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has an edge over its Ultra version in terms of repairability because of its plastic back cover.
