Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S8 are the most popular Android smartphones in the US, according to a new report by PCMag, based on data collected from the Speedtest mobile app.
The South Korean company is the second-largest smartphone maker in the country, after Apple. According to the test, Apple’s iPhone X is the most powerful phone in the US in all smartphone category, Android and iOS.

In the Android smartphones department, the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S8 are on top in the US. Although the recently launched Galaxy S10 series and Note 10 series have sold very well in the country.
The Galaxy Note 9 is popular in South-West US and across the West Coast, while the Galaxy S8 is in Northern US and South East. You can see also see the Galaxy S9+ in South Dakota and Connecticut.
Note 1: This report is based on the data collected by the speedtest mobile app, it means the test didn’t cover those devices who are not using this app, which could be a big number of the smartphones and the real story/numbers could be different.
