The Galaxy S21 is selling 30% more in South Korea, claims Samsung

Samsung unveiled the latest Galaxy S21 flagships on January 14, 2021. Following its launch, the company has started taking pre-orders for these devices. Moving forward, Samsung marked record numbers of the Galaxy S21 series pre-orders in UK.

Now, the South Korean tech giant announced that the Galaxy S21 series smartphones were selling 30% more compared to the Galaxy S20 series in its home country in the first eleven days since sales began. As per the info, these handsets achieved nearly 40%, while the Galaxy S21 Ultra accounted for 36% of sales.

Moreover, the middle-child of this lineup got around 24% of sales. In addition, the Phantom Black variant of the Galaxy S21 Ultra was the most popular color in the Korean market. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus’ Phantom Violet versions gained an impressive response.

Samsung also revealed that direct purchases accounted for 30% of the sales. Meanwhile, 60% out of direct purchases were bought online. Further, it is expected that the demand from March to April to surge because the two-year contract for the current two-year Galaxy S smartphone is about to expire.
