Honor launches the Magic 3 series with a Snapdragon 888+ 5G SoC, hexagonal lens design, and ceramic body

Honor has announced new Magic 3 series phones. The Magic 3 series includes the vanilla Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic 3 Pro+. All three devices feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G chipset.

At the Honor Magic 3 series new product launch event, Honor CEO Zhao Ming officially released the new flagship mobile phone Honor Magic 3 series, including a special Honor Magic 3 to Zhen edition.

Honor Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic 3 Pro Plus sport a 6.76-inch display (FHD+) that has an 89-degree super curved design, it really looks marvelous. The front side is the full view and is supported by the pill shape cutout on the top left corner of the screen to house a selfie camera.

Honor Magic 3 series:

Coming to the power side, Honor Magic 3 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipsets. On the other hand, the Magic 3 Pro and the Magic 3 Pro Plus boasts their power from the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset with 5G access.

Interestingly, Honor has fed a 4600mAh battery on all three variants of this lineup, which is quite surprising and good for the consumers. Moreover, these phones can recharge with 66 was wired and 50W wireless Honor SuperCharge technologies.

The Honor Magic 3 Pro is a bigger version and has a quad-camera system with a 50 MP wide-angle camera (f/1.9 aperture) + 64 MP Monochrome (f/1.8 aperture) + 64 MP periscope telephoto camera (f/3.5 aperture, OIS optical image stabilization) + 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture). The Magic 3 Pro brings a dual front camera system consisting of a 13MP wide-angle f/2.4 aperture camera + 3D depth sensor for beautiful portraits.

Coming to the advanced version – Honor Magic 3 Pro Plus, which has a giant quad-camera system with extra sensors. This setup consists of a 50 MP wide-angle camera (f/1.9 aperture, OIS optical image stabilization) + 64MP monochrome camera (f/1.8 aperture) + 64 MP periscope telephoto camera (f/3.5 aperture, OIS Optical image stabilization) +64 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.4 aperture). Honor Magic 3 models use an exquisite design technology that comes in different color options but the Honor Magic 3 Pro Plus is only designed with a ceramic body and has two colors – Black and White.

Honor Magic 3 series will be available in China first, global debut sometime later this year. The Magic 3 will start at €899, while the Magic 3 Pro is going to retail for €1,099. The Magic 3 Pro+ will be available in a single 12GB/512GB version for €1,499.
