How to personalize icons on Android 12 based ColorOS 12

Now with the all-new ColorOS 12 ”personalized icon feature” you can customize the icons, size, shape, and themes according to your choice.

ColorOS 12: Personalize your icons feature

With the ColorOS 12, you can choose to use material style icons, pebble style icons, custom ART+ icons, or a third party icon package. Notably, you can also resize the icons as you like further, you can also resize the text underneath the icons or even hide the text to make your home screen simpler.

Let’s get to know how you can personalize your icons in ColorOS 12

  1. Firstly, tap on the blank space and hold on, at the bottom, you will see an icon option click on that.
  2. In the icon field, you will see the apps at the top, here you will be able to see the transition which you are doing with the icons.
  3. Then after this here is given the options like Default, Material Style, Pebble, and the custom. Choose one out of them whichever you like the most. In the custom mode, you will find several shapes for your displayed app icons.
  4. Now here’s given the option Art+icons which works on the third-party apps, so you can disable or enable it by your choice from the toggle given.
  5. Then with the slider, you can adjust the size of your icons. And you can also hide the name of the application to give your user interface a clean and tidy look. At last, you can also resize the name of the application if you choose to turn it on.
