Huawei and Honor mobile storage expansion plan [List]

To make HarmonyOS compatible, Huawei has announced to upgrade the storage of its old device. According to the latest info, the list of those devices has been made official that will soon have their storage increased.

As the company plans to upgrade even its 5-year-old device, it becomes important to check if they are compatible with the new software or not. However, this upgrade plan is currently available just for Chinese users, while there’s no confirmation for the global ones.

This new step from Huawei could help those old devices to get some more life and along with HarmonyOS software, they will be refreshed into brand new. Huawei will conduct this storage upgrade rollout in stages, starting from July.

Huawei Honor storage expansion

The initial devices for the storage expansion will include the older flagships, Mate 9, Mate 10, Mate 20, Mate 30, P10, P20, and more. It will then expand to more Nova series phones, followed by some Honor devices.

As per the info, the interested users for these below-mentioned devices can increase their stage to 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB and this upgrade will cost 368 yuan ($57). There will be additional costs for upgrading to higher storage.
