Previously, we had reported that the Mate 40 series will bring Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) and AppGallery rather than Google Mobile Service (GMS) and Play Store because of US sanctions on Huawei. But, Android 11 is open-source, the company can still use it without U.S. permission.
However, Huawei has started an EMUI 11 beta testing program for some of its devices and the Huawei P40 series and Mate 30 Pro already received their first EMUI 11 beta in some regions. Maybe after a stable EMUI 11 beta rollout, the company could update these devices to EMUI 11 based on Android 11.
