Huawei P50 Pro 5G to feature custom display resolution, WiFi 6+ support

In the latest news of the Huawei P50 series, a Weibo tipster has revealed some interesting information about this upcoming lineup. According to the info, the Huawei P50 Pro will support 5G, WiFi 6+ connectivity, and a custom display resolution of 1224 x 2629 pixels. Further, it will have a center-equipped punch-hole front camera, a curved display, and a screen-to-body ratio of 20:9.

This was a huge leak to get in one go, though this is not yet confirmed officially and we should take it as a pinch of salt. The leaked image has revealed info about the resolution and we can clearly see it in the screenshot highlighted with a red color box.

In the previous leaks, Huawei P50 models have surfaced on the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) certificate in China. This certification listing suggests that these phones are coming closer to launch, while we still wait for the official confirmation.

Honor P50 specifications and launch date (Leaked):

This upcoming lineup will come with three models as Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro Plus. Both the P50 and P50 Pro are said to be launched earlier, whereas the P50 Pro Plus may be postponed. The official launch date is not yet known, but following the leaks, it might happen on July 29.

The Huawei P50 will come with a 6.3-inch display, while the P50 Pro will have a 6.7-inch screen. All of these upcoming smartphones will have the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and powered by the Kirin 9000 and 9000E processor. A new advanced camera design and more.
