The connecting mechanism connects the first support member and the second support member and the connecting mechanism is stretchable, and the maximum stretchable range of the connecting mechanism corresponds to the width of the bending area.

Huawei currently has two folding mobile phones on sale, and the third folding screen mobile phone Huawei Mate X2 is also expected to be launched within this year.

It is worth mentioning that this is the third ‘a foldable device’ design patent filed by Huawei. Previously, a folding device design patent was disclosed in the branch in 2019 and 2020. In addition, this latest patent that has just been published is similar to Huawei’s earliest design patent.
