LG sold unreleased Velvet 2 Pro and LG Rollable smartphones to its employees at extremely low prices

LG recently announced it was closing its smartphone division, so users never received the Velvet 2 Pro and LG Rollable. However, the manufacturer managed to release a limited number of phones.

LG employees in South Korea have an exclusive opportunity to purchase any of the unreleased devices, according to people familiar with the matter. No pricing or availability of LG Rollable flexible screen smartphones has been disclosed, but there is reliable information on the Velvet 2 Pro.

The company offers its employees around 3,000 smartphones for $ 170. Employees are allowed to buy no more than two smartphones, resale is strictly prohibited. The devices will carry a 6-month hardware warranty. No software updates will be released.

The Velvet 2 Pro is available in three colors and is very similar in design to the first-generation triple-camera Velvet, but with the new model, the cameras protrude from the rear. The phone is also said to have received a waterdrop notch and pressure-sensitive volume and power buttons.
