Samsung is the world’s leading smartphone brand and has launched dozens of Galaxy devices including mobile phones and tablets, and it will launch this year’s Fan Edition smartphones in the near future. Regarding the Galaxy S21 FE, we have encountered many leaks and rumors, and more information comes from South Korea.
According to TheElec, the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery provided by its main competitor LG. The report also hinted that LG will produce S21 FE batteries at its plant in Nanjing, China. In addition, ITM Semiconductor will also receive and package batteries from LG at its factory in Vietnam.
Last month, LG officially announced that it will leave the smartphone market to focus on innovations in other technological fields such as home appliances and robots, but it still exists in games and will continue to supply components to other smartphone manufacturers.
It is worth mentioning that LG Energy Solutions has provided batteries for Samsung’s Galaxy A and M series devices a few years ago. Later, it also produced batteries for the Galaxy S10 and components for the Galaxy Note 10 series flagship products.
In order to reduce the cost of the equipment, Samsung may decide to use LG Energy Solution batteries. In addition, according to reports, the company plans to use ATL batteries for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2/3, which will be launched together with the Galaxy S21 FE.
