On April 15, 2021, Xiaomi made a live broadcast on the “Lei Jun” WeChat video account and started the Xiaomi MIX Fold Folding test, a week-long ultra-durable folding challenge, in which the device is folding once every 1.6 seconds, 24 hours without interruption till 7 consecutive days.

According to the latest information, the Mix Fold violent folding test has exceeded 200,000 times and has been continuously folded for 89 hours, which is equivalent to 5.4 years of normal use.
The folding test site has a counter, which can display the current folding time in real-time. If the challenge is successful, the total folding in 7 days is equal to the normal usage of more than 10 years.
As per the official information, the MIX fold can be folded up to 200,000 times. Even if it is opened and closed 100 times a day, it can still be used for 5 and a half years.
