New Samsung Galaxy A22 5G leak reveals 90Hz display, triple rear camera

The Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G are Samsung’s upcoming lower-end smartphones. However, there is no information about their release date, but it may happen soon. Before the official announcement, multiple leaks of these mobile phones have surfaced, but there is no room for new leaks.

According to the latest information, the Galaxy A22 5G is equipped with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD Infinity-V display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. Under the hood, it is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. It has two memory configurations: 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB.

However, recent leaks indicate that the Galaxy A22 4G and 5G have different camera functions, and this new one shows that the Galaxy A22 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP (4K video recording) main camera, 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2MP depth-of-field lens, and 8MP camera for selfies.

In addition, Galaxy A22 5G also has 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm headphone jack. At the same time, additional features include Dolby Atmos audio, Samsung Pay support, and a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

According to the report, the Galaxy A22 5G is available in four different colors, including black, white, light green, and purple. In terms of measurement, its body is as thin as 9mm and weighs more than 200g. Previously, a list of allegedly European retailers showed that as Samsung’s cheapest 5G mobile phone, its price may be around 250 euros.
