The Nothing Phone (1) sold in India will be produced in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, according to the details shared with the Economic Times by Nothing VP and General Manager Manu Sharma.

Manu said the Nothing Phone (1) was the “real” start of the brand’s journey, and it made sense for Nothing to manufacture the Nothing Phone (1) locally, given the importance of the Indian market to the brand.

He further confirmed that Nothing has expanded its customer support in India to over 270 authorized service centers in over 250 cities across the country, thereby increasing consumer trust.

In addition, the revealer Mukul Sharma revealed that production of the phone has reportedly started at a factory in Tamil Nadu, but the battery will be imported from China.  It is reported that the Nothing Phone (1) is equipped with a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Moreover, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, with a 50-megapixel main camera, and possibly a 4500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging via a USB Type-C charging port.
