OnePlus 9 series will get two years of warranty services: Liu Zuohu

OnePlus is all set with its upcoming flagships called the OnePlus 9 that will be launched on March 23. The lineup will consist of three models which are OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9 R/Lite. While the leaks and rumors for these handsets are continuously coming and the company has made an official announcement regarding these phones.

As per the latest news, the CEO of OnePlus’ Technology and founder of the company has announced through social media that the OnePlus 9 series models will enjoy a two-year official warranty service. While the other smartphones will still be getting only one year of maintenance services.

This seems a nice decision from OnePlus and will add to its sales as the other companies only provide one year of after-sale services for their smartphones including Samsung. However, the South Korean tech giant has impressed everyone with its software update policy.

Liu Zuohu said: “Today 315, I decided to announce a decision that may offend the industry: OnePlus 9 series models will enjoy 2 years of official warranty service! Double the time than the official industry warranty.”

The OnePlus 9 series is set for launch on March 24 and will be announced at 14:00 as per China time in the online conference held at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. There are a bunch of leaks and rumors already available regarding this upcoming series. Also, the company itself is teasing these upcoming models.

OnePlus 9 Specifications (Expected)

As per the previously leaked info, the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the OnePlus 9 R/Lite will come with the Snapdragon 870 processor. It will come with the cameras in partnership with Hasselblad.

This premium range of smartphones from OnePlus will be featuring high-end functionalities including the Fluid AMOLED Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. The Pro model will equip a curved edge display and the other two will have flat panels.
