OnePlus confirms there won’t be an OnePlus 8T Pro model this year

OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau just confirmed on Weibo that there won’t be an OnePlus 8T Pro model this year. The
company is focusing on the OnePlus 8T and giving buyers the default option. Last year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 7T series, included OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.

In addition, the CEO said, if you are looking for the 8T Pro model, you can still get the OnePlus 8 Pro. The company launched the 8 Pro just 4 months ago and comes with outstanding hardware in the minimum price. The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 120Hz AMOLED QHD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, and Warp Charge 30 wireless technology.

The company has already confirmed the 120Hz display, and the device will be the first OnePlus smartphone to feature 65W fast charging via Warp Charge 65. There will be a 48MP quad cameras at the back, a larger 4500mAh battery, and Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out of the box. OnePlus to unveil the OnePlus 8T on October 14.
