Recently, a reliable tipster @evleaks has come up with a question that, should we assume this ditching of the Hasselblad camera branding as the dissension of the partnership with the company or it only applies for the model launching of August 03, in the New York.

According to the information, the chief designer of OnePlus has stated that the OnePlus 10T will not have the Hasselblad branding but it will definitely offer users significant camera capabilities as the device will use a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor which is technically higher resolution than the main camera from the 10 Pro further it will support 10-bit color shooting, “improved HDR photography” and an night photography mode.

Without getting distracted coming to the topic again, it’s yet unknown whether the Hasselblad branding is only lacking in the OnePlus 10T smartphone or if the company is completely breaking its partnership with Hasselblad. Well, currently, we can not say anything about this but we can expect that company will soon provide us with some official information regarding this.

To be mentioned, if a company smashes the partnership with Hasselblad then it can cause a major drawback to the OnePlus market because the Hasselblad branding is being favored by the users a lot, and if the Chinese OEM descends it in the future smartphones then it may cause users to switch for another brand.
