Poco M4 Pro 5G launch tomorrow, here’s what to expect

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco will launch its Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphones in global markets on November 9. i.e, tomorrow. Ahead of the launch, Poco Global officially teased several features of the upcoming product.

Well, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is said to be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi Note 11. The officially released teaser posters indicate the same.

Specifications

  • Display:

The Poco M4 Pro 5G sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that delivers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

  • Processor:

It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset – a recent launch built using the 6nm process. The storage will likely be UFS 2.2.

  • Software:

The phone will run the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 operating system out of the box.

  • Camera:

The Redmi Note 11 has a dual-camera setup – a 50MP primary shooter and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. Poco M4 Pro 5G looks like it houses more rear cameras than it actually does. Anyways, the front camera is 16MP.

  • Battery:

Poco M4 Pro 5G packs a large 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

  • Other features:

Other features include a side fingerprint recognition, an AG glass back cover, JBL dual speakers, top-mounted 3.5mm headphone jack, splash resistant (IP53), and infrared remote control function.

  • Design:

The Poco M4 Pro 5G will use the same body as Redmi Note 11. However, there are some minor changes so that the phone could look different. Similar to Poco M3 Pro 5G, M4 Pro has a rectangle-shaped camera module that has a large-sized Poco branding on the right side.
