On March 4, 2021, Realme uncovered its first flagship smartphone of the year, Realme GT 5G in China. Along with the phone launch, the company also confirmed that it will soon release a new phone called Realme GT Neo.
Previously the company has revealed an image that only confirmed Realme GT Neo to be powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset. Now, as per the latest news, Xu Qi, Realme’s vice president and president of the company’s global marketing, shared more details about the upcoming smartphone.

Realme’s Vice President confirmed that the GT Neo will be officially released by the company on March 31 with a brand new design. In addition, it has also been confirmed that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The company shared a poster that shows the upcoming smartphone will have a rectangular camera module on the back with the words “DARE TO LEAP” on the shell.
A recap of the specs indicates that Realme GT 5G which was launched a few weeks ago, features a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED E4 display, Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G support, 64MP triple main camera, 16MP selfie camera, 4500 mAh battery, 65W fast charging, and more.
Moreover, there is a dedicated GT mode that offers leapfrog performance while gaming with enhanced image quality, 4D in-game vibrations, faster loading times, dynamic sound effects, and more. Realme GT features a 3D tempered liquid cooling technology that maintains the phone’s temperature while gaming.
