Realme Race with Snapdragon 888 could be launched in February

Several OEMs including Xiaomi and Samsung have already announced their smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Following this, the Chinese phone maker, Realme also announced that it will adopt the latest on its smartphone that will be launching in the first quarter of 2021.

Some previous reports have also claimed that the upcoming Realme smartphone carries a model number RMX2201 and is codenamed as Realme Race. And now according to the latest news, Realme’s China president Xu Qi gave a hint about the upcoming Realme Race phone that will be launched soon.

Xu Qi mentioned that the Realme Race smartphone will be officially launched after Spring Festival in China which will last till February 12. This means that the Realme Race may be launched in late February.

As per the leaks, Realme will launch two smartphones in the series as Realme Race and Realme Race Pro. The Pro version is expected to sport a 6.8-inch OLED panel with Quad HD+ resolution. The smartphone will come with a 64MP triple camera setup with 13MP+13MP cameras.

Furthermore, it will pack a 5000mAh battery with 125W fast charging support and will come pre-installed with Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 operating system. Besides this, there is no more information available regarding these handsets and we’ll receive more info about them as soon as they come closer to launch, till then stay tuned.
