Realme X7 Max 5G launched as India’s first phone with Dimensity 1200 SoC

Realme has unveiled the new Realme X7 Max smartphone, which has expanded its lineup, which includes the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro models. As expected, the phone is identical to the recently launched Realme GT Neo, which is available exclusively for the Chinese market.

It is India’s first phone based on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The device will be available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, as well as 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.43-inch FHD + Super AMOLED display with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel is protected by Dragontrail Glass and also has a built-in fingerprint scanner. The smartphone received a main camera with image sensors with a resolution of 64 (Sony IMX682), 8 and 2 megapixels, as well as a 16-megapixel front camera.

The phone received stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a headphone jack. The phone is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery with support for SuperDart 50W fast charging technology. The device runs Realme UI 2.0 shell with Android 11.

Realme also promised to update the smartphone to Android 12 as soon as possible. The smartphone costs 372 or 413 USD depending on the amount of memory with sales starting from June 4.
