Redmi K30S Ultra becomes first Xiaomi device to support ‘Knuckle Screenshot’ function

In October, the company launched Redmi K30S Ultra with a 6.67-inch 144Hz FHD+ LCD screen, Snapdragon 865 processor, and 5,000mAh battery. On the first day, it hit a record high sales of 100,000 units. It’s a rebranded version of the Mi 10T which launched in Europe.

It comes with a set of new features that attract peoples. The knuckle operation feature is one of them. Redmi K30S Ultra is the only Xiaomi smartphone that supports the knuckle screenshot feature.

This function of the Redmi K30S Ultra supports knuckle tapping to take screenshots, circle to get local screenshots, wake up live voice assistant, long press and drag to adjust screen brightness, and more. You can also draw V to get the function, such as scan code, flashlight, camera, etc.

Knuckle screenshots and other operations are already available in Huawei and Vivo smartphones. As per the user feedback, there are some specific problems identified in this technology, and tempered film sensitivity will be reduced after attached.

Only Redmi K30S Ultra supports Knuckle operation function even the flagship smartphone Mi 10 Ultra doesn’t. The company has been unable to up knuckle operation, perhaps due to the patent authorization issue.
