Max Jambor on his Voice page said that the OnePlus 9 Pro is the only device to receive the highest water and dust-resistant IP68 rating.

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 8 Pro with the IP68 rating. This does mean that the OnePlus 8 Pro can stay in 1.5m deep water for around thirty minutes.
As you would expect, the company is following a similar approach to the 9 Series in early 2021. While the 9 and 9E are not likely to come with an official IP rating, the OnePlus 9 Pro will come with the same IP68 water and dust resistance rating as its predecessor the OnePlus 8 Pro.

We have seen our first look at the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, and now according to a new rumor, the company will be launching a third device alongside the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro early next year.
As per the rumor, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be launched with a third device, the third OnePlus 9 series device will be called the OnePlus 9E. The OnePlus 9E will be a more affordable device than the OnePlus 9.

The OnePlus Nord N Series as their entry models, the Nord as a very reasonable priced mid-range device, the regular phones of the main series as high end but yet not too expensive devices and the Pro series for absolute high end specs with all possible features such as wireless charging or IP68.
As per the previous information, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are expected to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
About the release, OnePlus is planning to release the OnePlus 9 series sometime in March next year.
